Dr. Danny Busch is the General Manager, Jones Group Middle East, bringing 33 years of U.S. Navy service and seven years of defense consulting experience supporting national security missions and international partners. A retired U.S. Navy Captain, Dr. Busch is recognized for leading complex, mission-critical efforts spanning integrated air and missile defense, space systems, C4ISR, combat systems modernization, and organizational transformation.

In his role with Jones Group Middle East, Dr. Busch supports senior defense leaders through strategic advisory and program management services, including on-site consulting with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense focused on force structure, capability development, planning, and budgeting in support of national transformation objectives.

During his Navy career, Dr. Busch served in enterprise-level leadership roles in both operational and acquisition commands. He was an ACAT 1 Major Program Manager within the Navy’s Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems, responsible for technical requirements, systems engineering, development, integration, test, and sustainment for ship integrated combat systems across 45 U.S. Navy capital warships, leading large-scale budgets and integrated government–industry teams. He also served as Combat Systems Officer (Department Head) aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), directing operations, maintenance, and modernization of extensive communications, intelligence, and combat systems, receiving two consecutive Battle E awards for Combat Systems Department excellence. Earlier assignments included program leadership at the National Reconnaissance Office, managing and integrating classified space system capabilities and complex acquisition portfolios.

Dr. Busch holds an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership and Development, along with three advanced master’s degrees: an M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies, an MBA in Program Management, and an M.S. in Space Systems Engineering. His awards include two Legion of Merit, multiple Defense Meritorious Service Medals, and additional personal and unit recognitions.

A Tennessee native, Dr. Busch is married to Alice and is the proud father of two children and grandfather of five grandchildren.
