National Security and Defense Transformation

JGI helps governments and institutions address complex national security and defense challenges by translating strategic objectives into sustainable institutional capability. Drawing on a global network of senior leaders and subject-matter experts with experience across the military, government, diplomacy, industry, and technology, we approach national security as an interconnected mission encompassing defense, governance, economic strength, infrastructure, energy security, and international cooperation.

Our defense transformation work helps U.S. allies and partners modernize defense and security institutions, strengthen joint capabilities, improve governance and resource management, develop leaders and workforces, and build the organizational structures and processes required for long-term success. JGI works alongside senior civilian and military leadership from assessment and strategy through implementation, providing independent advice, mentoring, decision support, and hands-on support throughout the transformation process.

JGI combines this depth of expertise with a persistent presence in key regions, with our personnel living and working across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and North Africa. Our in-region teams are supported by JGI’s broader network of defense and national security experts, allowing us to provide continuity while rapidly bringing specialized expertise to complex requirements.

From organizational transformation and joint staff development to manpower, resource management, leadership development, transition planning, and institutional modernization, JGI helps partners build more capable, professional, and sustainable defense and security institutions, strengthening cooperation with the United States and advancing shared security objectives.
